Stretch Your Stamps 2 - post 1
So I signed up for another Online Card Class, this time it was Stretch Your Stamps 2. I previously won a spot in their Stenciled class at the beginning of the year and it was great. This one was great too but I didn't play along like I did last time. I still fully recommend taking the classes!!
I am going to post multiple things in each post so I can load them to the proper gallery.
Day 1 - Lesson 1 - Multilayer Emboss Resist. This technique was to use a background stamp with embossing and then water color. Then to take your background piece and cut it up for different cards and different uses.
Card 1 - supplies:
Canson Watercolor Paper
Versamark Ink
Hero Arts clear embossing powder
Artist Loft Watercolor
Papertrey Ink Journal Accessories (I don't have many background stamps at all so I used border stamps)
PTI Wonderful Words Birthday stamp set and die
Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock
Tombow Adhesive
Versafine Black Onyx
Day 8 - Lesson 3 - Create a Border. This technique was to use a graphic stamp to create a background.
Only card - supplies:
Simon Says Stamps - Cupcake Party, largest star
PTI Signature Greetings - Girly You Rock
Cuttlebug Embossing folder - don't know the name
Stampin Up Pink Passion Ink
PTI Soft Stone Ink
Versafine Black Onyx
Day 10 - Lesson 2 - DIY Stamped Letter Embellishment. This technique was to use a floral stamp to create a nice subtle background then stamp a color ink on white and mount the letters (or my case word dies) on fun foam for dimension.
Card 1 - supplies:
PTI Wonderful Words Birthday die
PTI Summer Sunrise ink and paper
Versamark for the background stamping
White fun foam
Cuttlebug
PTI Stamper Select White cardstock
Ranger Multi Matte Medium for adhesive
Lawn Fawn Mixed Sequins
Day 11 - Lesson 1 - Layered Heat Embossing. This technique was to create a fun embellishment centerpiece by using one color embossing powder for the background and then stamping a design/sentiment on top and using a different color being very careful to not overheat the top layer so it melts in just right. I absolutely loved this one and will be doing it again!!
Only card - supplies:
Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large dies - largest two
